Explorator Strengthens Board as El Espino-Venus Continues to Advance

Shaun Browne Joins Board of Directors

TORONTO, ONTARIO--(Marketwire - June 9, 2008) - Explorator Resources Inc. ("Explorator" or the "Company") (TSX VENTURE:EXO) is pleased to announce the appointment of Shaun Browne to the Board of Directors of the Company.

Since 1989, Mr. Shaun Browne has been Managing Director of the AME Group ("AME") which is a major independent and global mineral economic and technical consulting firm specializing in the resources industries. He is currently actively involved on an extensive range of resource projects, many of which are being developed from the advanced exploration stage through to production stage. During Shaun's 19 year tenure at AME he has worked for a wide range of clients in the mining, financial and government sectors around the world. Shaun holds a Bachelor of Economics degree (1981) from the University of Western Australia and a Master of Business Administration (1984) from The Australian Graduate School of Management at the University of New South Wales. He is also a member of the Society for Mining, Metallurgy and Exploration, and the Canadian Institute of Mining, Metallurgy and Petroleum.
