Explosive Combo of Foreigner Music and Competitive Skating Stokes the Flames of Improv-Ice

LOS ANGELES, CA--(Marketwire - November 15, 2010) - The hot-blooded swells of Foreigner music will ramp up a star-studded cast of world-class skaters during the highly-anticipated Improv-Ice NBC special set for Sunday, November 21.

In this nationally-televised special hosted by Olympic champions Brian Boitano and Kristi Yamaguchi, reality television takes to the ice with skaters getting the ultimate test of prowess and creativity as they choreograph one-of-a-kind skating routines set to 11 Foreigner songs.

Results will be announced on the Nov. 21 special, televised from 4-6pm EST on NBC.

In addition to Boitano and Yamaguchi hosting the show, the cast of Improv-Ice skaters includes 2010 Olympian Gold Medalist Evan Lysacek; 2010 Bronze Medalist Joannie Rochette; 2010 U.S. Champion Rachael Flatt; 2009 U.S. Champion Alissa Czisny; 2008 World Champion and 2006 Olympic Bronze Medalist Jeffrey Buttle; 2007 U.S. Silver Medalist Ryan Bradley; and 2006 Olympic Silver Medalist Sasha Cohen. Skaters will lace up and have a chance to do trademark jumps, spins and footwork set to the jaw-dropping delivery of a live Foreigner performance.
