Healthcare Conference

MARKHAM, ONTARIO--(CCNMatthews - March 28, 2005) - Extendicare Inc.
(TSX:EXE.MV)(TSX:EXE.SV)(NYSE:EXE) announced that Extendicare will be
presenting at the Lehman Brothers Global Healthcare Conference on March
30, 2005 at 8:00 am ET. The presentation will be webcast live on
Extendicare's website at www.extendicare.com. The presentation will be
available for viewing for 90 days following the live webcast.
