ExtraHop Networks Appoints Jeff Feinstein as Senior Vice President of Field Operations

Twenty-Year Technology Veteran Joins Fast-Growing Network Management and Application Delivery Startup

SEATTLE, WA--(Marketwire - February 15, 2010) -  ExtraHop Networks, Inc., the first network-management company to deliver true application visibility, today announced the appointment of Jeff Feinstein as its new Senior Vice President of Field Operations. In this capacity, Feinstein will be responsible for all customer-facing functions, including sales, customer support, and business development.

"We are thrilled to bring someone of Jeff's caliber to the ExtraHop executive management team," said Jesse Rothstein, CEO of ExtraHop Networks. "ExtraHop is at an important inflection point. Despite a sluggish economy, we're seeing strong demand for our flagship product as IT organizations realize they require a new set of diagnostic network tools to deliver the applications their teams rely on. Jeff will be instrumental in helping us build out new sales channels, identifying strategic new business opportunities, and collaborating with our growing customer base to improve all facets of our product."

With more than 20 years of executive experience in strategic planning and global field operation, Feinstein has a solid track record of positioning technology companies for growth and geographic expansion. Prior to joining ExtraHop Networks, Feinstein was the founder and principal of Catalyst Consulting where he provided management and investment consulting services to technology startups. As the Senior Vice President of Worldwide Sales and Business Development for Vallent Corporation, Feinstein drove more than $50 million in incremental revenue and helped position the company for acquisition to IBM Corporation in 2007. Feinstein also has held senior management positions with Metapath Software and Sequent Computer Systems. Feinstein received his BA in Business from Washington State University and earned an Executive Program Certification from Stanford University School of Business and an International Business Certificate from the University of Copenhagen, Denmark.

"I've been working in the technology sector for more than two decades and was immediately struck by what the ExtraHop team has built and brought to market," said Jeff Feinstein, Senior Vice President of Field Operations for ExtraHop Networks. "ExtraHop is well positioned to take the staid network management category to an entirely new level. I'm excited to join the team and work with them to deliver the next generation of application-delivery solutions to the enterprise market."
