Extreme CCTV Achieves Sales Success in Asian Energy Sector

VANCOUVER, BRITISH COLUMBIA--(CCNMatthews - Oct. 19, 2006) - Extreme CCTV International Inc., a division of Extreme CCTV Inc. (TSX:EXC), the global leader in the design, development and manufacture of active-infrared night vision surveillance equipment, announces recent sales success to the energy sector in Singapore.

Extreme's Integrated Day Night™ (IDN™) cameras will be used for security upgrades by a major Singapore power company. Located at a remote site with limited external lighting, Extreme's cameras will be integrated with video motion detection, enabling 24/7 intruder detection in day or dark conditions. Extreme's supply contract is valued at approximately USD $300,000 and the installation will be completed by O'Connor's Singapore, one of Extreme's security integration partners in the region. Additional contract details cannot be disclosed for security reasons.

The Singapore energy project is the latest among many critical infrastructure sites to have selected Extreme's active-infrared technology for major security upgrades. Extreme offers a range of products to the energy sector including its patented REG® license plate capture cameras, its explosion protected Moondance™ ExD pan-tilt-zoom camera and its Integrated Day-Night dual-sensor EX80, EX82 and ZX55 cameras.

Extreme's active-infrared technology is field-proven at the highest level of security end-users including the US Navy, the Department of Homeland Security the Department of Energy. At several major critical infrastructure projects, Extreme's active-infrared is serving as an enabling night-time technology for video analytic software.
