Extreme CCTV Inc.: Obzerv's ARGC-2400 Integrated With Radar for Maritime Security

Range-Gated Active Imager Identifies at 10km Distance

VANCOUVER, BRITISH COLUMBIA--(Marketwire - June 5, 2007) - Extreme CCTV Inc. (TSX:EXC) today announces that the ARGC-2400 Advanced Long Range Active-Imager, flagship product of its strategic partner, Obzerv Technologies Inc., has been successfully integrated with a radar detection system for a maritime security project at a critical waterway in Asia.

The active-imager and radar combination enables defense and homeland security end-users to positively identify threats sooner than any other system. Unlike typical thermal imaging systems that are based on temperature differentials, the ARGC-2400 utilizes a DALIS™ (Diode Array Laser Illumination System) and range-gating technology that enables long-range identification. Working in tandem with radar, which serves to detect objects and pinpoint their location, the ARGC-2400 provides the critical identification-level video upon which authorities can base decisions for response.

The ARGC-2400 is an electro-optical active-imaging system designed to enable high resolution long-range night vision through airborne obscurities such as rain, snow, mist and fog. The resulting capabilities include reading a vehicle license plate at up to 1.5 km, recognizing a human being at 5 km, classifying a vehicle at 10 km and pinpointing people in search and rescue activities at a distance greater than 10 km. Each of these capabilities is uniquely effective in coast guard surveillance, anti-terrorism operations and search and rescue missions.

During daylight hours, the GPS-equipped ARGC-2400 functions as a high-magnification telescope for general daytime surveillance. Featuring magnification up to 240x, the powerful zooming capabilities of the ARGC-2400 allow definitive video interrogation of suspicious activities from long range.

"The ARGC-2400 has been successfully integrated with radar detection systems, providing critically important capabilities currently unavailable through any other system," says Louis Demers, Chief Technology Officer of Obzerv. "The combination not only reduces the time required for security agencies to respond to threats, but also provides long-range identification-level video both day and night."

Extreme CCTV holds a 31% equity interest in Obzerv by way of a convertible debenture.
