Extreme CCTV, Mycros, PEMEX Enter Purchase Agreement

Extreme Equipment to Help Secure Oil Infrastructure

VANCOUVER, BRITISH COLUMBIA--(CCNMatthews - Aug. 24, 2006) - Extreme CCTV International Inc., a division of Extreme CCTV Inc. (TSX:EXC), the global leader in the design, development and manufacture of active-infrared night vision surveillance equipment, announces recent sales activity to Latin America's petroleum industry.

Extreme has been awarded a first phase contract valued at over US $250,000 for its explosion protected and license plate capture surveillance cameras from premier Mexican security integrator Mycros Electronica for security projects at Petroleos Mexicanos (PEMEX). Recognized as Mexico's largest company and the third largest oil producer in the world, PEMEX will use Extreme's equipment to help prevent fuel theft.

This sales activity is expected to continue as oil prices and security concerns increase. Extreme has developed a market presence in both Central and Latin America and Asia, building on recognized brand equity that has enabled sales success in numerous government and defense security projects. Extreme's focus on the Central and Latin American security markets coincides with growing concern for the region's petrochemical infrastructure.

"We are pleased and optimistic about our position in the Central and Latin American markets, particularly Mexico," says Jack Gin, President and CEO of Extreme CCTV. "The recent PEMEX deal illustrates how our products are specified for important security projects around the globe."
