Extreme CCTV Named One of BC's 50 Strongest Public Companies

VANCOUVER, BRITISH COLUMBIA--(CCNMatthews - Oct. 31, 2005) - Extreme CCTV Inc. (TSX:EXC), the security industry's leading supplier of active-infrared night vision surveillance equipment, has been named one of British Columbia's 50 strongest publicly traded companies. Criteria for the 50 Strongest list, published this week in The Vancouver Sun, include market capitalization, relative liquidity, debt-to-equity ratio and percentage return on assets.

Extreme joins the likes of Goldcorp, Teck Cominco, Angiotech Pharmaceuticals, Placer Dome, Teekay Shipping, QLT, PMC-Sierra, Telus, Finning and Terasen on the list of BC's 50 Strongest.

"The fundamentals of our core business continue to strengthen, with a deeper client base and higher performance products. Our progress is reflected in recent unit sales growth," stated Jack Gin, President and CEO of Extreme CCTV. "We are a technology firm with excellent R&D capability, and it is through this home-grown innovation that we continue to compete well on the global stage."

Extreme CCTV has a strong and growing presence throughout Europe and North America, and is leveraging its well-established brand identity to aggressively pursue vertical markets in ITS (intelligent transportation systems), Homeland Security and Defense. The high performance of its precision engineered products is now recognized by the world's leading security systems integrators, who have installed Extreme CCTV equipment to support defense forces in Iraq and Afghanistan, as well as for Homeland Security requirements at US embassies, United Nations properties and hundreds of other sensitive public locations.

Earlier this month, Deloitte named Extreme CCTV to the Canadian Technology Fast 50 for the third year in a row.
