ExxonMobil Japanese Refining Subsidiaries in Restart Process, an Industrial Info News Alert

TOKYO, JAPAN--(Marketwire - March 18, 2011) - Researched by Industrial Info Resources (Sugar Land, Texas)--Two subsidiaries of Exxon Mobil Corporation (NYSE:XOM) (Irving, Texas), Kyokuto Petroleum Industries Limited (Ichihara, Japan) and TonenGeneral Sekiyu Incorporated (TYO:5012) (Tokyo), were greatly affected by last Friday's earthquake. Both Kyokuto and TonenGeneral are in the process of restarting their facilities in Ichihara, Chiba, and Kawasaki, Kanagawa, respectively.

Kyokuto's Ichihara refinery has a throughput capacity of 175,000 barrels per day and is expected to be fully operational soon after Monday, March 21.
