Eyefi Taps Jeremy Cowart as Advisor

The Internet's Most Socially Influential Photographer Joins With Digital Camera Connectivity Pioneer to Help Shape the Future of Imaging on the Web

MOUNTAIN VIEW, CA--(Marketwired - Feb 12, 2015) - Eyefi (, the global leader in digital camera connectivity, photography apps and services, today announced that acclaimed artist and influential photographer Jeremy Cowart will join Eyefi in an advisory role to guide Eyefi's strategic product and user engagement efforts in the area of digital photography.

"Jeremy's insight into the role of photography in society and how its impact can be magnified through technology is without equal," said Matt DiMaria, CEO of Eyefi. "He is passionate about helping others express themselves through photography and social media to be a positive force in the world," DiMaria said. "That is core to our mission as a company and we look forward to Jeremy's contribution to our future."

Named "The most influential photographer on the Web" on Huffington Post, Forbes, Yahoo, PetaPixel and LinkedIn, Jeremy Cowart is an accomplished and highly acclaimed artist. His interest started with painting, but Jeremy quickly fell in love with the entire creative process. In 2001, he founded his own graphic design company, Pixelgrazer. In 2005, Jeremy turned his focus to photography and in a relatively short amount of time earned the respect of artists, photographers, and celebrities alike. "I'm excited to engage with Eyefi, a leading innovator in digital imaging," said Jeremy Cowart. "It's great to have the opportunity to blend the visual arts and technology for photographers at every level to enjoy regardless if they shoot with a pro level DSLR or a smartphone," Cowart said.
