EZ Dock Makes Waterfront Cottage Life Easier in Canada

MONETT, Mo.--(CCNMatthews - Mar 30, 2006) -

EZ Dock, Inc. is in the process of getting everyone anxious for the 2006 Spring and Summer seasons. The floating dock and lift system company is working with show promoters and Action Plein Air Sports to supply all of the floating docks for Le Salon Chalets et Maisons de Campagne public exhibition in Quebec.

Le Salon Chalets et Maisons de Campagne has created a man-made lake and cottage inside of the Quebec City Convention Centre to simulate real cottage living. The lake was created to demonstrate water related products, including EZ Dock. The lake display holds 1,320 gallons (6,000 litres) of water and over 600 sq. ft. (55 m2) of dock sections were used for the exhibit. Visitors will be most impressed when they get a chance to actually walk on EZ Dock's floating dock system.

"This is the time of the year when people start yearning to be outdoors and to enjoy life--not to do repairs," said Sharon Wahrmund, Product Manager for EZ Dock. "The EZ Dock product display allows attendees to experience first-hand how durable and low-maintenance our dock and lift products really are. Low-maintenance is extremely important in the cottage industry. Owners don't have the time to repair docks and lifts every year. And since our system is so easy to install and dismantle, the product can be taken out during the winter months if needed. And our unique pylon design helps create a stable dock system, which is perfect for waterfront cottage owners in Canada, where lakes are generally larger and water conditions are a bit rougher than the rest of North America. The in-water show also gives potential customers a chance to experience first hand the incredible stability of the EZ Dock product, which is created by its unique pylon design," continued Wahrmund.

The Salon Chalets et Maisons de Campagne starts on March 30th and runs until April 2nd. The event attracts over 30,000 visitors who own or plan to own cottages within the Canadian landscape.

EZ Dock's products are manufactured from a linear low-density polyethylene that is virtually maintenance free, and carry an eight-year limited warranty. EZ Dock drive-on lifts and docks utilize a patented connecting system for ease of installation and of adding additional components. EZ Dock's patented flotation chambers and extra-heavy wall thickness create tremendous structural integrity engineered to enhance stability on water. The hollow floatation pieces are excellent for installations where environmental issues are a concern. All products are light beige in color to help prevent solar heat absorption and to help make surfaces cooler in hot climates.
