Fabick CAT Selects TECSYS for Their Parts Center

Caterpillar® Dealers Continue to Endorse TECSYS' Solutions as the De Facto Standard for Their Warehouse Operations

MONTREAL, QUEBEC--(Marketwire - May 20, 2009) - TECSYS Inc. (TSX:TCS), an industry-leading supply chain management software company announced today that Missouri-based Fabick CAT has selected TECSYS' EliteSeries Warehouse Management System (WMS) to streamline their parts distribution operations, become paperless and improve service to its customers.

Founded in 1917, Fabick CAT is the authorized dealer of Caterpillar Equipment, prime and stand-by power systems, parts and service, compact construction, rental and pipeline equipment for 99 counties in mid and southern Missouri and southern Illinois. Fabick's services department has more than 160,000 square feet of under-roof service area, and stocks over 120,000 items at its 14 parts locations.

Fabick needed to do more with less, reducing expenses, reducing overtime, and operating more efficiently with the same number of people, even if they increase their warehouse space and/or number of products. They also needed to increase their fill rate and order accuracy and improve their organization's bottom line. Having witnessed such significant improvements at several dealers who have deployed TECSYS' EliteSeries Warehouse Management System, Fabick CAT decided in favor of TECSYS.

"Our goal is to become virtually paperless," stated George Belobrajdic, General Parts Manager, Fabick CAT. "Fabick is handling a critical parts distribution and services business that needed a higher-level of sophistication from a technology point of view. TECSYS came with exceptional WMS capabilities; highly recommended by customers in our industry. We were particularly impressed by TECSYS' Proof of Delivery and eTrac™ applications as they will allow us to manage and view shipments from order creation to electronic signature capture at Will-Call or at the final shipping destination; all paperless," concluded Belobrajdic.

TECSYS' EliteSeries WMS is one of the very few software products on the market that is interfaced to Caterpillar's DBS (Dealer Business System). In addition to its feature-rich WMS functionality, it includes such exclusive capabilities as Caterpillar-supplied bar codes, cubic dimension for Caterpillar parts, eTrac's powerful Proof-Of-Delivery and event tracking application, and real-time visibility throughout their distribution process.

"With 16% market share in North America and growing, TECSYS has become the standard technology for Caterpillar dealers' parts distribution operations," commented Peter Brereton, President and CEO of TECSYS Inc. "In spite of the challenges brought about by the economy, these dealers are continuing to make the decision in favor of our software to streamline their distribution processes and significantly improve their cost structure."
