Facebook Is Not Just For Horny College Students

TORONTO, ONTARIO--(Marketwire - Nov. 9, 2010) - Contrary to the hit movie, "The Social Network "would have you believe, there are more than just horny college students on Facebook. According to Google Ad Planner, over 52% of Facebook's 500 million plus active users are over the age of 34. In reality, Facebook has the broadest range of participants of all the social media platforms.

Statistically speaking, Facebook has over 260 million members over the age of 35, compared to the perceived market leader, LinkedIn, who only has 27 million members in this demographic segment.
