FaceKey Makes Another Step to Add Face Recognition to Its Biometric Security System

SAN ANTONIO, TX--(Marketwire - December 13, 2007) - FaceKey (PINKSHEETS: FEKY) announces a new addition to their EntryGuard™ product line, the AC-05, a fingerprint based access control product with a keypad plus a video camera that will function as a pre-screening RECEPTIONIST. If the face of a visitor, such as a Fed Ex delivery person or a customer coming for a meeting, appears on a screen in the business, the receptionist can identify the visitor and open the door from inside.

Customers who already have an access control system that uses cards, can add the AC-05 to provide fingerprint based security and the pre-screening RECEPTIONIST. The AC-05 combines fingerprint recognition with either a PIN or card and is FIPS 201 compliant, the high security level required by the Federal Government.

According to Dr. Yevgeny B. Levitov, President and Co-Founder of FaceKey, "FaceKey plans to equip the AC-05 unit with face recognition. This step will provide the commercial and industrial markets with superior security products, utilizing face recognition, that are convenient, easy to use and that will reduce administrative costs. By building on the AC-05 as our base, FaceKey can bring a cost effective face recognition based product to the market in a relatively short time.

"Like all products in the EntryGuard product line, the AC-05 runs on the corporate network and the customer's existing database software. The case for the unit is elegant and attractive, but the real value is FaceKey's software, training program and customer service. We invite anyone who is interested in distribution or utilization of our products to go to our web page at, and/or call us at 210-826-8811, or email us at"
