The hotel started with just 30 televisions before reaching out to sister hotels and raising furniture donations valued at more than $150,000. "I knew what the organization did," he says, "and this was just the right time for us to do our part." Donated items included dressers, nightstands, beds, couches, coffee tables, lamps, chairs, dinette tables and end tables -- all of which found a second life in the apartment of families in need.
