Despite innovative ideas, many start-ups in the HR space struggle to get the funding they need to grow, while the numerous "me too" providers have an easier time. This begs the question: is there something about cutting-edge innovation that scares away the HR suite and its investors? And, do some innovative products fail to reach buyers in favor of safer investments?
During the HRO Today Forum, Adam Hale, CEO of Fairsail, an organization funded by super-angels, will chair an interactive panel discussion exploring the relationship between investment, innovation and the HR suite. Joined by other HR executives, leading investment bankers and industry influencers, Hale will moderate an engaging conversation exploring the factors influencing investors and the HR marketplace. Drawing on specific examples and audience participation, Hale and the panel will consider how and why some solutions get selected while others are declined. Session attendees will get an intimate look at the HR technology funding quest and what it takes to gain the financial support needed to succeed.
Following the panel, Hale will remain on stage as one of the six top tech innovators selected to present in HRO Today Forum's annual iTalent Competition. Moderated by industry expert, Matt Charney, the spirited event will feature 7-minute product pitches to four high profile judges who select the winner.
