Fairview Park Marriott Kicks Off Prom Season

The Falls Church hotel is partnering with Once Upon A Prom for its "Operation Pretty & Polished" special occasions attire charitable effort. Since prom is such a milestone event in a teenager's journey, the hotel wants to help them with everything they need to make it a memorable occasion. Anyone who has a slightly worn dress can drop it off at the front desk of the hotel. The dress collection began on Saturday, April 5th during the hotel's First Annual Prom Showcase and will continue through this Friday, April 11th at 6 p.m. 

In addition to the dress donations, the hotel hosted a Prom Showcase on April 5th which helped students learn tips and tricks for when planning their prom and also provided a food and beverage tasting, best practices for prom planning, decoration and entertainment ideas, and other event management skills.
