For nearly two decades, FalconStor has helped businesses migrate, protect, recover, and optimize data. These two new executive hires are key stakeholders that are tasked to help take FalconStor into the next phase of growth and continued innovation in the software-defined storage marketplace. Both Yavari and Sengupta will be on the forefront of the definition, design and management of the next generation of FreeStor solutions.

Prior to FalconStor, Yavari worked as a Senior Architect for eBay and PayPal Inc. in San Jose, California as well as a Senior IT Architect for Hewlett Packard. Yavari was also an IT Consultant for Maya Systems, in San Carlos, California and the IT Director for Webvan.com in Foster City, California. Yavari began his career as a UNIX Systems Administrator for Philips Semiconductors in Sunnyvale, California.
Yavari holds a B.S. in Computer Science from the University of Applied Sciences in Wedel, Germany and is also certified by the HP Education Center in both HP-Service Guard/High Availability and the HP-UX System Administration. Among his many achievements, he has been a keynote speaker at the Stanford University Electrical Engineering Department in 2015 and a Hewlett Packard Technical Forum Speaker in 2006.
Sengupta has had a long and varied career in product development and engineering management of enterprise software and hardware products. He has worked for major technology companies, including Sun Microsystems, Dell and Hewlett Packard. Most recently Sengupta was the Senior Product Manager at EMC, Santa Clara, California, and the Data Optimization Product and Program Manager at Dell in San Jose, California. In addition, Sengupta was a Storage Architect for LAN Power System in San Jose, California.
Sengupta holds a bachelor of science of Electrical Engineering from BIT in India as well as a Master of Science in Electrical Engineering from San Jose State University in California.
