Fallsview Poker Classic Crowns Three Winners

NIAGARA FALLS, ONTARIO--(Marketwire - Jan. 14, 2011) - Fallsview Casino Resort wrapped up its second annual Fallsview Poker Classic from January 6 – 11, 2011, with resounding success.

The 6-day tournament hosted a grand total of 1,228 players, consisted of three main events with buy-ins of $1,000, $2,500 and $5,000 and had a combined prize purse of over $2.4 million.

Winning the sold-out $1,000 tournament was Joseph Mandool who outlasted 599 other players and won the $146,140 first place prize. The $2,500 event was won by David Quang who walked away with first place and a prize of $283,387, while the final round saw Maple Ontario's Giuseppe Spano claim 1st place and a grand prize of $312,697.

In only its second year, the Fallsview Poker Classic had the largest field in Canadian Poker tournament history.
