Famed Defense Lawyer Joseph Cavallo to Open Fresno Office

IRVINE, CA--(Marketwired - Dec 5, 2014) - Prominent Orange County defense attorney, Joseph Cavallo is expanding his Irvine law offices to offer high-quality expertise in personal injury and criminal matters to the residents of Fresno. In the past 23 years, Cavallo has successfully represented hundreds of clients and recovered millions of dollars in damages through criminal defense, personal injury, and business litigation. His depth of knowledge and colorful, outspoken personality have made him a frequent subject of newspaper articles and a guest on TV outlets like FOX's "O'Reilly Factor," CBS' "48 Hours" and MSNBC. Cavallo is now expanding his practice with a plan to formally open his new office in Fresno, CA by January 1, 2015.

"I'm looking forward to working with the people of Fresno to provide them with experienced, affordable legal representation," says Joseph Cavallo. "My office will be working primarily in the area of plaintiff personal injury and criminal defense. We will be offering free consultation with a fair, unbiased analysis of the case, a reasonable fee quote will be provided."

Ranked among such high-profile criminal defenders as F. Lee Bailey, Johnny Cochrane, and Alan Dershowitz, Joseph Cavallo rose to prominence for his 2002 defense of Gregory Haidl, son of former Orange County Assistant Sherriff Don Haidl which was heavily covered by local and national media during the intense two month trial. Other notable cases include his representation of former Orange County Assistant Sheriff George Jaramillo and the Los Angeles County Sheriff's Department in civil litigation suits. He was born and raised in New Jersey which no doubt contributed to what the Los Angeles Daily Journal noted in 2005: "...[his] aggressive, often forceful, style [which] has alienated prosecutors and defense attorneys alike while winning rave reviews from clients."

With an emphasis in criminal defense most of his career, Cavallo has also proved successful as a personal injury lawyer, with over $20 million in damages earned for his civil dispute clients. When plaintiffs hire Joseph Cavallo to represent them, they are in fact gaining access to a vast network of experts cultivated through his many years of cooperation with accident investigators, safety and medical experts and engineers who have oftentimes presented substantial supporting evidence for his case.

Joseph Cavallo's tough determination and assertive nature have been positively channeled outside of the courtroom as well. He recently established a volunteer organization called "Adopt the Elderly," and has become a strong advocate for abused women and children both in and out of court. In 2005, after Hurricane Katrina affected large parts of the United States, his high energy and sense of justice compelled him to take a sabbatical from his practice, leave California, and head to Mississippi and Louisiana. There he worked first in Biloxi, at a Salvation Army refugee center, before going to New Orleans to help locals rebuild their city.

Cavallo completed his undergraduate studies at St. Peter's College in Jersey City before going on to study law at the prestigious Western State University in Fullerton, California. He is admitted to practice law in the State of California and has been a valued resident of the Golden State for many years.
