Famed Physicist Honored by Rose-Hulman Institute of Technology

TERRE HAUTE, IN--(Marketwire - Sep 23, 2011) - Famed futurist, best-selling author, theoretical physicist, acclaimed public speaker, and radio & television personality, Dr. Michio Kaku, will today receive the Excellence in Innovation Award from Rose-Hulman Institute of Technology. The award recognizes people with visionary leadership, passion and a proven track record of success in engineering, science and mathematics.

Dr. Kaku will make an appearance on-campus today to accept the honorable distinction and to deliver the Oscar C. Schmidt Lecture, which brings to Rose-Hulman national leaders to discuss issues important to the campus community. He will also participate in a press event on Saturday related to the unveiling of a campus expansion.
