Furthermore, the appointment of Mr. Mike Flanagan, M.Sc.A, P.Geo as V.P. Exploration, will ensure valuable continuity in this important aspect of the business. It should be noted Mr. Flanagan was responsible for the discovery of the high grade Black Horse Chromite Deposit on the Company's Ring of Fire property, currently under option to Bold and KWG Resources and for the early definition of the Lac Lamêlée iron deposit now under development by Lamêlée Iron Ore."

In a separate statement, Mr. Smith also noted Mr. J. Patrick Sheridan's great contribution to the Company's original acquisition of its iron sector properties, at a time when no one was interested in such things, and which properties today now form the foundations of four iron companies; The Magpie Mines, Lamêlée Iron, Champion Iron, and its associated company, Cartier Iron.
