LOS ANGELES, CA--(Marketwired - May 29, 2014) - Reed's, Inc. (NYSE MKT: REED) is encouraging its fans to vote for the beverage brewer's Culture Club Cabernet Grape Kombucha in the Vegetarian Times "2014 Foodie Awards." The drink is a finalist in the Fizzy Drinks category.
Editors with the vegetarian-focused lifestyle magazine chose 100 "must-have" options in 25 different categories. The final decision on winners, however, rests on the readers. Fans can vote once a day throughout May at the magazine's website. Winners are announced in the October issue of the magazine.
"We're encouraging all of our kombucha fans to vote this month to give our Cabernet Grape variety the recognition it deserves," said Chris Reed, founder and CEO of Reed's. "Our Reed's Culture Club Kombucha is grown in a brew of oolong and yerba mate teas in spring water, and long-aged to maximize potency and flavor. Our unique flavor blends -- like Cabernet Grape -- are the most unique on the market, and we're happy to share this potential award with our fans across the country."
