Farha Foundation, DAVIDsTEA and Quebec Personalities Serve Tea for CA MARCHE 2012

Raising awareness and donations for HIV/AIDS with every cup of tea

On September 12, The Farha Foundation, Quebec's leading HIV/AIDS organization hosted a tea party raising awareness and donations for ÇA MARCHE 2012 along with DAVIDsTEA, Canada's premiere loose-leaf tea destination. By giving a small donation of $5, guests were treated with a cup of DAVIDsTEA and a cookie made by Appetite for Books, all served by Quebec's local celebrities at Montreal's newest DAVIDsTEA's location, 1310 Sainte Catherine Street West.

All proceeds raised on Wednesday will be donated by The Farha Foundation to organizations assisting the 20,000 men, women and children living with HIV/AIDS in Quebec.

Well-known personalities behind the tea bar included: Linda Farha, Erica Diamond, Andrew Carter, Mélanie Couture, Isabelle Racicot, Rebecca Makonnen, Sonia Benezra, Mutsumi Takahashi, Pamela Lajoie, Jason Rockman, Tony Stark, Eve Martel, Martine St-Victor, Hubert Cormier, the Farha Foundation's Honourary President, Evelyn Farha and DAVIDsTEA co-founder David Segal.

The Farha Foundation is Quebec's leading fundraising organization committed to helping men, women and children living with HIV/AIDS. The events organized by the Farha Foundation also serve to raise public awareness of the AIDS pandemic.
