Farha Foundation Partners With DAVIDsTEA and Quebec Personalities for CA Marche 2012

Raise awareness, donations for HIV/AIDS, one cup of tea at a time

MONTRÉAL, QUÉBEC--(Marketwire - Aug. 23, 2012) - On September 12, The Farha Foundation, Quebec's leading HIV/AIDS organization, and DAVIDsTEA, Canada's premiere loose-leaf tea destination, come together to host a tea party raising awareness and donations for ÇA MARCHE 2012. For a $5 donation, guests are treated to a free hot or cold cup of DAVIDsTEA and a cookie made by Appetite for Books. The beverages will be served by local luminaries at DAVIDsTEA's newest Montreal location, 1310 Sainte Catherine Street West.

Quebec's own celebrities will be behind the tea bar serving guests for the cause. Well-known personalities include Isabelle Racicot, Rebecca Makonnen, Sonia Benezra, CTV host Mutsumi Takahashi, singer Pamela Lajoie, CHOM radio host Jason Rockman, VIRGIN radio host Tony Stark, food blogger Eve Martel, the Farha Foundation's Honourary President, Evelyn Farha, DAVIDsTEA co-founder David Segal, and much more!

The Farha Foundation is Quebec's leading fundraising organization committed to helping men, women and children living with HIV/AIDS. The events organized by the Farha Foundation also serve to raise public awareness of the AIDS pandemic.
