MONTREAL, QUEBEC--(Marketwire - Feb. 1, 2013) - The Farha Foundation, Quebec's leading HIV/AIDS fundraising organization, is pleased to reveal the program of the 14th edition of its annual MASKARADE gala. This glamorous evening will be held at the Marché Bonsecours in Montreal on February 21, 2013, and is themed "INSPIRE" to emphasize the importance of inspiring our youth to one day be part of a generation void of AIDS. The Farha Foundation has set a fundraising goal of $300,000 and part of these funds will go to support prevention and education programs to help men, women and children living with this terrible disease in Québec.
Join MASKARADE's Honourary Chairpersons Andrew Torriani, president and CEO of the Ritz-Carlton Montreal and his wife Arlene, for an unforgettable evening. Sonia Benezra, host of Benezra Reçoit and spokesperson for Jenny Craig Canada, will be the master of ceremonies and will introduce the evening's exceptional performers including DJ Donald Lauture; singer J.D. Fortune, former INXS lead; and choreographed show created specifically for MASKARADE 2013 by Scott Fordham.
The event will start with a cocktail at 6:30 p.m., followed by a silent auction, a gourmet dinner, served by Ristorante BEATRICE, and dancing all night long. Silent auction items include two photographs by renowned artist-photographer Deborah Samuel; two dinners for four people at Café Ferreira, including wine; and a trip for two people to Doha, Qatar, including two business class tickets on Qatar Airways, and two nights at the luxury Ritz-Carlton Hotel. Many more unique items will be available at MASKARADE 2013.
Those interested in purchasing tickets or making a donation are invited to visit the official website of the gala at MASKARADE2013.com. For each ticket purchased, a $100 tax receipt will be issued. All event profits will go to the Farha Foundation.

MASKARADE is the most glamorous event of the Farha Foundation. Previously known as "Black Tie Bingo", this gala, which takes place once a year in February, was renamed MASKARADE in 2004. The theme is different with every edition, and always chosen in memory of Ron Farha. Each year, many artists and partners participate in a luxurious silent auction, and all the profits go to the Farha Foundation.
