Farmers Insurance Claims Teams and Mobile Claims Units in Columbus, OH; Bensalem, PA and Toms River NJ, Helping Customers Who Have Suffered Damage From Hurricane Sandy

LOS ANGELES, CA--(Marketwire - Nov 1, 2012) - Two Farmers Insurance Mobile Catastrophe Claims (MCC's) buses, one Customer Care Claims Vehicle, and Farmers Insurance Group of Companies® claims teams, including subsidiaries Foremost Insurance, 21st Century Insurance and Bristol West, are helping customers file Hurricane Sandy claims in Ohio, Pennsylvania and New Jersey.

"We are working hard to provide immediate claims help to all of our customers who have suffered damage from Hurricane Sandy," explains Dan Schrock, Farmers Head of AgencyPoint Offices. "Our agents and claims personnel are assisting our customers with immediate needs and helping them file claims for their damages as quickly as possible."

The Mobile Catastrophe Claims (MCC) buses are equipped with state-of-the art satellite communications equipment; claims stations; water, supplies; satellite laptop and telephone capability, and expert claims personnel on board.

2 Mobile Claims Buses and 1 Customer Claims Vehicle have set up at the following addresses.

In Pennsylvania, MCC at:

Walmart Parking Lot
3461 Horizon Boulevard, Bensalem, PA 19020
(at the intersection of 276 and US 1, at entrance to turnpike)
Open 10 a.m. till 5 p.m. tomorrow, then 9 a.m. till 5 p.m. each day

In New Jersey: MCC at

Lowes
1375 Hooper Avenue
Toms River‎ NJ‎ 08753
Open 10 a.m. till 5 p.m. tomorrow, then 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. each day

This is exit 83 off of the Garden State Parkway. It's important that visitors access this via Garden state pkwy and if traveling from the west, they use I 195. Many smaller "cut thru" roads are closed.

It is also important the visitors fuel up before coming this close to the coast. Due to power outages, there are fewer stations open and some lines for gas.

In Ohio:  There is a Customer Care Claims Vehicle, a smaller version of the Claims bus, equipped with full communications equipment and claims personnel ready to help customers at:

Walmart Parking Lot
24801 Brookpark Rd., North Olmsted, OH 44070
Open 10 a.m. till 5 p.m. tomorrow, then 9 a.m. till 5 p.m. each day
"Something we stress is that Farmers, Foremost, 21st Century and Bristol West customers need not go back to their homes for insurance papers when they have been told, or have to leave their homes," Schrock continued. "We invite our customers to come to the mobile claims units to file a claim, or they can contact their agent or call Farmers' 24-hour-7 days a week claims hotline, 800-HelpPoint (1-800-435-7764) for immediate assistance," Schrock said.

Farmers and 21st Century customers with damage should immediately contact their agent or call Farmers' 24-hour-claims hotline, 1-800-435-7764 for immediate assistance.

Foremost Insurance customers should file their claim by calling:
1-800-527-3907.

Bristol West Insurance customers should file their claim by calling:
1-800-274-7865.

Spanish-language claims assistance is available to Farmers customers by calling: 877-RECLAMO (877-732-5266).

Farmers customers can also go to www.Farmers.com or download the free iClaim app to file a claim.

Flood victims who have Farmers or Foremost flood insurance should contact their agent or call Farmers' 24-hour-claims hotline, 1-800-435-7764.
