The bakery industry enjoys a long-standing tradition. As one of the oldest professions in the world it looks back to an ancient history and long evolution. This continuous development has always renewed the industry, without neglecting its roots. Modern Bakery Moscow, which will take place April 23-26, 2014, uses these developments to set new impulses for the entire industry. "The core or the core product "bread "remains unchanged, but its environment is changing. We use this transformation thematically and formulate tangible concepts for the future," explains Bernd D. Fichtner, Managing Director of the organizer of Modern Bakery Moscow 2014.

20 years Modern Bakery Moscow - the name says it all
Modern Bakery Moscow contains the adjective "modern" in its name, not without a reason. It is the leading trade fair for the entire baking and confectionery industry in Russia and sets new trends for the entire industry. "Our anniversary exhibition will present new bakery trends along with our classic and traditional topics: as for example tea, coffee, chocolate, ice cream or shop fitting concepts," adds Fichtner.

Exciting market - Moscow as the gateway to the Russian regions
Modern Bakery Moscow is the only exhibition for the entire bakery and confectionery industry in Russia. For this reason and due to its 20-years existence, the trade fair is highly attractive for all large and economically important regions of Russia. "Our Modern Bakery Moscow is a kind of gateway to the Russian market. Through our long-standing and well -established network in Moscow and Russian regions, we can bring together our exhibitors and interesting visitors from all over Russia," concludes Fichtner.

Consumption data of the Russian market
Bread consumption per capita in Russia comprises 114 kg per year, which is well above the average in Europe. Further figures confirm an enormous potential of the Russian market. In 2012 one Russian consumed 5.9 kg of chocolate, about 2.6 kg ice cream and about 1 kg coffee, further increases are to be expected.
