Fashion Vampire Magazine Morphs Into FVM Global Magazine

LOS ANGELES, CA--(Marketwire - December 23, 2009) - Fashion Vampire Magazine has changed its name to FVM Global Magazine, since it now covers events worldwide, with international correspondents conducting interviews and reporting on fashion shows, art exhibits, film festivals, concerts, and other cultural phenomena, always seeking out those who attempt to expand the consciousness and elevate the human spirit.

Fashion Vampire Magazine was begun in July, 2007 with the express purpose of informing and educating by highlighting the creative experience in fashion, art, film, music, and literature. The magazine first featured the opening of Parisian couture designer Yves Castaldi, who had just moved to Los Angeles, and since then has covered such events as the Chinese American Film Festival, Le Bal de Paris, amfAR in New York, the Cannes Film Festival, Brit Fashion Week in Los Angeles, and the Magic fashion convention in Las Vegas.

The new FVM Global Magazine has covered fashion weeks in New York, Japan, India, France, Dubai, and Los Angeles. An upcoming issue will feature an interview with Chado Ralph Rucci, coverage of Fashion Group International events in Los Angeles, and music, art, literary, and restaurant reviews.

FVM Global Magazine is pleased to have an internationally renowned jewelry company, Frey Wille, advertise with us. Michaela Frey was a Viennese artist who in 1951 began hand-enameling jewelry. She partnered with Friedrich Wille to form the company Frey Wille. Frey Wille has steadily created its own line of enamel jewelry which is both unique and artistic, and also worked with Yves Saint Laurent during the '70s and with Hermes until June of this year. After the death of Michaela Frey, Friedrich Wille expanded the line, adding accessories such as scarves, ties, necklaces, and cuff links. Frey Wille pieces have been shown in the Beaux Arts Museum in Paris and the Victoria and Albert Museum in London, and are now in over 800 stores throughout the world. Frey Wille inaugurated its first American store in Santa Monica, California and will expand to more U.S. cities in April of 2010.

Murray Rosen is the Publisher and Editor-in-Chief of FVM Global Magazine. Faith Boutin is the Managing Editor and Public Relations Director.
