Fast Family Dinners

MISSION, KS--(Marketwire - Oct 8, 2012) - (Family Features) Sometimes the fast pace of family life doesn't leave much time to make dinner. When you're running from one practice to another or juggling after school clubs and music lessons, it's always important to keep the right ingredients, easy recipes and some quick foods on hand that your family can easily prepare for themselves and take on the go.

Quick Burgers - Even if the grill is packed up for the season, it doesn't mean you can't enjoy your favorite flame-grilled foods, like a juicy burger. These two recipes let you enjoy a delicious burger at home -- and in a flash -- helping to satisfy even the hungriest appetites. They start with Ball Park Flame Grilled Patties, fully cooked patties made with 100 percent beef. Available in three varieties, Beef, Beef & Cheese and Beef & Onion, they are ready in about a minute straight from the microwave and can be easily dressed up and turned into family favorites like these Quick Patty Melts or Malt Shoppe Burgers.

Simple Sides - All burgers need the perfect side. Take advantage of convenience items at the grocery store and stock up on items like salad mixes, coleslaw, macaroni or potato salad. They make easy sides for your burgers -- and all the prep work has already been done for you.

Sweet Treats - If you'd like to end the meal on a sweet note, look for small, bite-sized treats you can enjoy on the go. An individually wrapped mini chocolate bar, a handful of trail mix with chocolate chips, a small peach or some frozen grapes are great options to have on-hand.
