February 21st Deadline Approaching for SNW's "Best Practices" Awards Program

Sector's Top Awards Recognize Excellence in IT Infrastructure Deployment


FRAMINGHAM, MA--(Marketwire - January 27, 2011) - IDG's Computerworld -- the leading IT media brand dedicated to providing peer perspective, IT leadership and business results -- in conjunction with the Storage Networking Industry Association (SNIA), and SNW, are seeking IT user-organization case study submissions across the following five categories for their Best Practices Awards Program.

  • Best Practices in Adopting Emerging and Innovative Technologies

  • Best Practices in Data and Information Management

  • Best Practices in IT Consolidation, IT Efficiency and Data Center Design

  • Best Practices in Storage Resiliency, Data Protection and Recovery

  • Best Practices in Virtualization and Cloud Computing

A panel of judges will select five finalists -- including one winner -- in each category and all winners and finalists will be recognized at SNW Spring 2011, taking place April 4-7, 2011, at the Hyatt Regency Silicon Valley / Santa Clara Convention Center in Santa Clara, California. Additionally, award winning organizations will be named on the SNW conference website (www.snwusa.com), in an event press release, and may be featured in a special Computerworld supplement. Qualified and nominated IT end-users will each receive complimentary registrations to attend SNW and winners and finalists will be entitled to use the SNW awards logo to promote the achievement on their corporate website and in marketing collateral.

Eligible nominees are exclusively IT end-user organizations and nominations are accepted from IT users themselves, their public relations representatives, or vendors on behalf of their IT end-user customers. Multiple submissions of case studies describing different deployments per IT end-user/organization will be considered.
