Fed Up With Your Business Phone System? Alteva Answers the Call With a 35-Seat Communications Makeover in Its "My Phone Stinks" Contest

PHILADELPHIA, PA--(Marketwire - Mar 13, 2012) - Unified communications ("UC") solutions for today's businesses have transformed the way companies communicate. UC in the cloud has further revolutionized the way employees -- on- and off-site -- interact and interface. Now there's a way for your business to drop its outdated phone system to get the most cutting-edge business communications solution free for a year.

Anyone for a contest?

Alteva, a leading cloud-based UC solution provider and subsidiary of Warwick Valley Telephone Company (NASDAQ: WWVY) (referred to as WVT Communications Group), will award an entire Alteva Unified Communications solution of up to 35 seats to the winning company in the "My Phone Stinks" contest. There's a reason why Alteva's growth has been off the charts, and there's no reason why your company should be left behind. With Alteva's "My Phone Stinks" contest, one lucky company will get the communications makeover of a lifetime. There is a residency requirement: entries will be accepted from businesses in the Greater Philadelphia area (including the following counties: Philadelphia, Montgomery, Delaware, Chester and Bucks, PA; Mercer, Burlington, Camden, Gloucester and Salem, NJ; and New Castle, DE).

The prize, worth nearly $40,900, includes up to 35 phones, installation fees, and one year of UC service, including hosted Voice over IP integrated with Microsoft Communication Services (Exchange, OCS and SharePoint). The winner also will receive licenses for all software and two training sessions with an Alteva corporate trainer. (After one year, the winner may choose to pay monthly license and usage fees to continue the service or end service.)

Those entering should visit and provide the required information about your business in the form and submit a short essay explaining exactly why your existing phone system stinks. As much as you may hate your inadequate phone system, profanity won't score you any points. A well-reasoned essay on what you presently lack -- and desperately need -- in your business communications system definitely may, in a manner of speaking, answer the call. Entries must be 700 words or less, and may be displayed on the website for the duration of the contest. No cash or purchase is necessary to enter.

The contest deadline is May 31, 2012. A winner will be selected by a panel comprised of officers from the donating companies, and the winner will be announced on the website on June 8, 2012. The executive team of the winning company will be invited to the grand opening party of Alteva's new Philadelphia office and presentation center in June.
