Feddev Ontario Promotes Employee Engagement Through Investment in Toronto-Based Company

TORONTO, ONTARIO--(Marketwired - May 31, 2016) - Federal Economic Development Agency for Southern Ontario (FedDev Ontario)

Today, Adam Vaughan, Member of Parliament for Spadina−Fort York, on behalf of the Honourable Navdeep Bains, Minister of Innovation, Science and Economic Development and Minister responsible for FedDev Ontario, announced funding of up to $375,000 in PostBeyond Inc.

Employee engagement not only improves morale, it also helps companies empower staff and increase loyalty within the organization. The Government of Canada is pleased to support PostBeyond Inc. to further develop its cloud-based employee engagement and advocacy software platform. This technology enables employees to post company-approved brand content to their personal social networks to promote their company and the work they do. Additionally, the company can track content readership and obtain valuable marketing information about its products.

This repayable contribution, through FedDev Ontario's Investing in Business Innovation initiative, will also help PostBeyond Inc. diversify its export activities, develop the marketing materials required to support sales, complete the next phases of the company's sales and business plan, and develop high-performance sales and marketing teams.

• Through this project, PostBeyond Inc. is expecting to create 38 jobs while maintaining 11 jobs.
• FedDev Ontario's funding will leverage up to $750,000 from Export Development Canada, the MaRS Investment Accelerator Fund, and an accredited angel investor.
