FedDev Ontario Supports Innovative Clean Technologies in Brantford

BRANTFORD, ONTARIO--(Marketwired - June 17, 2016) - Federal Economic Development Agency for Southern Ontario (FedDev Ontario)

Today, Bryan May, Member of Parliament for Cambridge, visited GreenMantra Recycling Technologies Ltd.'s new plant expansion, on behalf of the Honourable Navdeep Bains, Minister of Innovation, Science and Economic Development and Minister responsible for FedDev Ontario. While touring the facility, MP May announced FedDev Ontario funding of up to $600,000 in GreenMantra Recycling Technologies Ltd.

Protecting the environment and growing the economy go hand in hand. Today's federal funding will allow GreenMantra Recycling Technologies to expand market development activities for its Ceranovus A-Series waxes - wax that is made from 100% recycled content. In addition, the company will develop and implement a resource planning system to automate aspects of the business, which will help increase its operational efficiency.

FedDev Ontario's repayable contribution is through the Investing in Business Innovation initiative, which is aimed at strengthening the innovation ecosystem in southern Ontario by supporting new entrepreneurs, early-stage businesses and angel investors.
