BOSTON, MA--(Marketwired - Sep 18, 2014) - Federal Street Advisors, an independent investment consultant and wealth management firm for individuals, families and nonprofit organizations, announced today that Eric Godes has joined the firm as COO and Chief Wealth Advisory Officer.
In this role Eric is responsible for the development and delivery of advice and service for the firm's clients. As a member of the leadership team he joins Kristin Fafard (Chief Investment Officer), who is responsible for the firm's research efforts and investment programs and Jennifer Murtie (President) who is responsible for overall business operations, strategic planning and marketing.

Mr. Godes spent over 21 years at Kobren Insight Management ultimately serving as President and Chief Operating Officer until the firm's sale to E*TRADE Financial in 2011. While at Kobren he was responsible for all operating divisions of the firm which included sales, marketing, trading, operations, compliance and client relationship management for high net worth individuals, families, foundations and retirement plans. Adviser Investments subsequently acquired Kobren and Godes served as Chief Operating Officer to ensure the firm's employees, clients, policies and procedures were seamlessly integrated into a new operational structure. Mr. Godes has also served as a consultant to the wealth management industry concentrating in operational efficiencies, organic and inorganic growth initiatives.
