OKLAHOMA CITY, OK--(Marketwire - February 19, 2009) - On February 17, 2009, a class action lawsuit was filed in the United States District Court for the District of Colorado against Intrepid Potash, Inc. (NYSE: IPI). The complaint alleges violations of federal securities laws, Sections 11, 12(A)(2) and 15 of the Securities Exchange Act of 1934 and Rule 10b-5, including allegations of issuing a series of material misrepresentations to the market. The class definition is for those purchasers of IPI securities pursuant to and/or traceable to the Company's April 21, 2008 Initial Public Offering ("IPO").
