FEI Canada, Quebec Chapter Appoints New President and Inducts 2010 Board of Directors

MONTREAL, QUEBEC--(Marketwire - Jan. 28, 2010) - Financial Executives International Canada (FEI Canada), Quebec Chapter today announced the appointment of Mr. Carl Gauvreau to Chapter President and the induction of its 2010 Board of Directors. Mr. Gauvreau takes over from Serge Pharand, Vice President and Corporate Controller at CN, who served as the Chapter's President for the past eight years.

"Mr. Gauvreau has been a member of the Quebec Chapter Board since 2003, where he was Vice President of sponsorship for five years, during which time he contributed to the Chapter's growth," said Serge Pharand, outgoing President of the FEI Canada, Quebec Chapter. "Together with his new Board of Directors, Mr. Gauvreau is poised to continue membership growth and awareness building of the Quebec Chapter." Mr. Gauvreau first joined the FEI in 2001, with the New York Chapter.

Mr. Gauvreau will apply his more than 25 years of business experience and solid professional track record to ensure FEI Canada's Quebec Chapter achieves its objective of helping senior financial executives more effectively meet the challenges facing their profession and contribute to the success of their respective organizations.

Since 2006, Mr. Gauvreau is Vice President and Chief Financial Officer at Hartco (TSX:HCI), a company delivering IT infrastructure solutions to businesses in Canada for over 30 years. Previously, Mr. Gauvreau worked in large organizations such as KPMG and Quebecor World. Mr. Gauvreau is a member of the Ordre des comptables agrees du Quebec since 1986. He holds a Master of Business Administration degree in international finance from McGill University. In 2004, he was named one of 50 emerging leaders in Quebec by Groupe Secor and Les Affaires.

In addition to his extensive involvement in various activities related to the world of finance, Mr. Gauvreau has helped carry out numerous fund-raising activities for non-profit organizations and has been on the Board of Directors of Fondation des Jeux du Quebec for the last three years, currently serving as Vice President.
