Fenomax Granted $176,000 in Funding from Government of Canada for Improvements to Riviere-Rouge Factory

RIVIÈRE-ROUGE, QUEBEC--(Marketwire - Oct. 3, 2011) - The Honourable Denis Lebel, Minister of Transport, Infrastructure and Communities and Minister of the Economic Development Agency of Canada for the Regions of Quebec, announces that the firm Fenomax will receive $176,000 in repayable funding for the acquisition of equipment and expansion of its Rivière-Rouge factory.

"Canada Economic Development is proud to support Fenomax in carrying out this project. These improvements will help create jobs and diversify the economy in the Antoine-Labelle RCM, which is heavily dependent on the forest industry," said Minister Lebel.

Fenomax specializes in the custom manufacture of PVC windows and the sale of steel doors. By acquiring new equipment and expanding one of its two plants, the company will be in a position to begin producing the steel doors itself, thereby reducing order turnaround time and widening the range of custom products it offers.

This financial assistance has been granted through the Community Diversification program.
