Feronia Inc. Completes $28.8 Million Unit Offering

Feronia Inc. ("Feronia" or the "Company") (TSX VENTURE:FRN) is pleased to announce that it has completed its previously announced offering (the "Offering") of units of the Company (the "Units"). The Offering was made by way of a short form prospectus offering in all provinces of Canada other than Québec through Wellington West Capital Markets Inc. ("Wellington West") and on a private placement basis outside of Canada pursuant to available exemptions through Wellington West and Renaissance Capital (Kenya) Limited (collectively, the "Joint Bookrunners"). An aggregate of 44,275,000 Units were issued pursuant to the Offering for total gross proceeds of $28,778,750, which included 5,775,000 Units issued upon the exercise in full of the over-allotment option by the Joint Bookrunners. In addition, the Company issued to the Joint Bookrunners non-transferable compensation options to purchase up to an aggregate of 2,656,500 common shares in the capital of the Company at an exercise price of $0.65 per common share at any time prior to 5:00 p.m. (Toronto time) on March 31, 2013.
