Fewer than 1,250 tickets available for tomorrow's game against Philadelphia

OTTAWA, ONTARIO--(Marketwire - March 22, 2010) - The Ottawa Senators announced today that fewer than 1,250 tickets remain for tomorrow's 7:30 p.m. home game against the Philadelphia Flyers at Scotiabank Place. Following the game against Philadelphia, the Senators will have only three regular-season home games remaining this season.

The Senators and Flyers are currently tied for fifth place in the Eastern Conference with identical 37 - 30 - 5 records. The Flyers do not play this evening, while Ottawa concludes its regular-season series with the Canadiens in Montreal, another Eastern Conference opponent which has also accumulated 79 points. Philadelphia is led in scoring by forward Jeff Carter, who has recorded 60 points this season and has appeared in each of the Flyers' 72 games to date. Carter's 33 goals see him ranked in a tie for eighth in the NHL.

Following home games against Florida on Saturday, March 27, at 7 p.m. and Carolina on Thursday, April 1, at 7:30 p.m., the Senators will host Buffalo in their regular-season finale on Saturday, April 10, at 7 p.m. Fewer than 650 tickets remain for the game against the Sabres, which will feature a celebratory tribute to long-time Senators captain Daniel Alfredsson in recognition of his 1,000th NHL game. Alfredsson is currently scheduled to play in the milestone contest against the Panthers on April 6 in Sunrise, Fla. Each fan attending the April 10 game will receive a free commemorative T-shirt in recognition of the event.

Tickets for all remaining home games are now on sale and can be purchased by visiting, by phone at 613-599-FANS (3267) or 1-877-788-FANS (3267); in person at The Sens Store at Rideau Centre and Place d'Orleans; at any Ottawa Sports Experts location and at the Scotiabank Place box office.
