Fewer than 2,000 tickets available for Saturday's game against Buffalo

OTTAWA, ONTARIO--(Marketwire - March 6, 2009) - The Ottawa Senators announced today that fewer than 2,000 tickets remain for the team's penultimate home game against Buffalo this season, tomorrow evening at 7 p.m. Ottawa leads the season series with three victories in four games. Buffalo currently sits three points outside of the eighth and final playoff position in the Eastern Conference.

On Saturday (and all remaining Saturday home games), fans can enter Scotiabank Place through Gate 1 for the Sens Gameday Experience, presented by Esso, with doors opening at 10 a.m. for the pre-game skate, which starts at 10:30 a.m. Activities will include face painting and tattoos, T-shirt giveaways and a free Senators poster for the first 500 children in attendance. Non-perishable food items will be accepted for the Ottawa Food Bank. Parking and admission is free for the open skates.

Tickets remaining for upcoming games:

Monday, March 9 vs. Toronto: Fewer than 2,500 tickets remaining. The provincial rival Toronto Maple Leafs make their last stop of the season in the nation's capital. The Senators currently trail the regular season-series 1-2-1 with two games remaining. Former Senators goaltender Martin Gerber, claimed on waivers by the Maple Leafs on March 4, makes his return to Scotiabank Place.

Wednesday, March 11 vs. Tampa Bay: Fewer than 2,500 tickets remain as the Senators host Vincent Lecavalier, Martin St. Louis and the Tampa Bay Lightning for the second and final time this season. Now in his third stint in Tampa, former Senators forward Vaclav Prospal ranks third on the team in scoring.

For both Saturday and Wednesday's games, the new Future Fan ticket pak is available for minor hockey players, students and their families. Children's tickets, which include a hotdog and a drink, are available for $20. The same ticket is available to parents for just $29.
