Fewer Than 2,500 Tickets Available for Thursday's Game Against Tampa Bay

OTTAWA, ONTARIO--(Marketwire - Oct. 14, 2009) - The Ottawa Senators announced today that fewer than 2,500 tickets remain for tomorrow's 7:30 p.m. home game against the Southeast Division-leading Tampa Bay Lightning at Scotiabank Place.

The Lightning are led by former Hart and Art Ross Trophy winner Martin St. Louis, who has nine points through five games and is currently tied for sixth in league scoring. Victor Hedman, the second overall pick in the 2009 NHL Entry Draft, will make his first professional appearance in Canada, while the game also marks a return to the nation's capital for former Senators defenceman Andrej Meszaros, who never missed a regular season contest in three seasons with Ottawa (2005-06 to 2007-08).

Thursday's game against the Lightning is a SUBWAY Savings game, where fans can receive a 20-per cent discount on regular-priced tickets, including more than 300 seats in the Coke Zero Zone priced at only $14 including taxes.

Tickets for all October and November home games are now on sale and can be purchased by visiting, by phone at 613-599-FANS (3267) or 1-877-788-FANS (3267); in person at The Sens Store at Rideau Centre and Place d'Orleans; at any Ottawa Sports Experts location and at the Scotiabank Place box office.
