FHM Launches All-Digital Daily Destination Web Site,

WWE * FHM's Daily Dose * WebTV Video * Jenny McCarthy * Bam Margera

NEW YORK, NY -- (MARKET WIRE) -- January 18, 2007 -- In what will be seen as a bold transition from print to digital, Emap Consumer Media announces today the launch of ( a premiere daily online destination for men that succeeds the former FHM print magazine and its companion Web site, "With the vast majority of young men turning to the Web as their primary source of entertainment, it only makes sense that FHM evolve into an all-digital brand," said Scott Kritz, editor, FHM Online. The site features a new design and wider editorial coverage, including entertainment, sports, gaming, gadgets, advice, video, user-generated content and beautiful women. FHM Online will also offer a daily, customizable e-mail newsletter and support its entire editorial lineup with several upcoming mobile initiatives.

To celebrate its debut, FHM Online will host "Jackass" bad boy Bam Margera's bachelor party Friday, January 19, at New York hot spot Stereo, voted "Best Club" by Paper's annual nightlife awards. Filmed by MTV as part of its "Bam's Unholy Union" reality show chronicling Margera's wedding planning and nuptials, the party will be recapped on FHM Online with exclusive red carpet footage, interviews and photos.

FHM Online's homepage includes a video player highlighting daily selections of the site's latest content from its all-new WebTV channel, which adds features such as full-screen video and user-customized playlists of the site's hundreds of girls, sports, entertainment and user-generated video clips. Another homepage feature, FHM's Daily Dose, spotlights the site's newest offerings of the day, including news, interviews, blog entries and the Big Eye on the Web portal, a collection of links to videos and photos of everything from the outrageous to the sublime. Also featuring Girl of the Day and Beer of the Day, FHM's Daily Dose serves as the framework for the site's daily, user-customizable e-mail newsletter which debuts in February.

Upfront on the homepage is FHM Online's Sports channel, housing exclusive interviews and blogs featuring a number of pro athletes, including Jonathan Vilma of the New York Jets, All-Pro running back great Jerome Bettis, and its newest contributor, Sidney Crosby of the Pittsburgh Penguins. Crosby, whose blog debuts this month, joins fellow NHL bloggers Marian Hossa of the Atlanta Thrashers, Jeremy Roenick of the Phoenix Coyotes, Patrik Elias of the New Jersey Devils and Ryan Getzlaf of the Anaheim Ducks who have contributed to FHM since the start of the 2006-2007 season. Coming in February, FHM Online will increase its Sports channel offerings via a partnership with the WWE to create a behind-the-scenes blog written by its wrestlers.

"Our aim is to create a daily destination for guys complete with everything of interest to them, including sports, celebrities, style, gaming, video, community, and of course more of what we're known for, beautiful women," said Kritz. "We'll continue with FHM magazine's brand values of funny, sexy and useful, but now instead of a complement to a must-read monthly magazine, we're focused on coming at you as a must-view daily Web site. And while many FHM favorites will continue on the site, including features shared with FHM's network of 30 international editions, we will put an emphasis on our own content with an increased number of video shoots, interviews, community features, celebrity bloggers, user-generated content and offline events," adding, " will also extend its Web content via mobile services that will let readers enjoy our videos, interviews, pictures, downloads and community features on the go."

In addition to the pro athlete contributors who join FHM Online, Jenny McCarthy's hugely popular Joy of Sex video column also continues on the newly launched site. McCarthy's latest entry, which provides guys with Jenny's tips on getting in shape, will be followed up in the weeks and months to come with more sage wisdom and fresh video from one of FHM's all-time favorite cover girls. FHM Online will continue with the Hombre section, its lifestyle channel covering electronics, cars, health, fitness, fashion and grooming. The site is also planning a number of parties and events to be held in New York, Chicago and Miami, to name just a few, in the coming months.

Emap Consumer Media is a division of Emap plc. FHM is in 30 countries worldwide online, as a magazine, and a music TV channel.
