FIABCI-USA Now Accepting Nominations for 2012 FIABCI Prix d'Excellence Awards

NEW YORK, NY--(Marketwire - Apr 2, 2012) - The USA Chapter of The International Real Estate Federation, FIABCI-USA, is currently accepting nominations of real estate projects for its inaugural Prix d'Excellence Awards presented in conjunction with The Wall Street Journal. This highly prestigious award recognizes real estate developments created by American Development Teams from all over the United States and the world that best embody excellence in multiple real estate disciplines.

The Prix d'Excellence Award illustrates the FIABCI ideal of "stimulating competition to provide society with optimal solutions to its property needs," according to Alexander Romanenko, the FIABCI World President 2011-12. All projects that are submitted must have been completed, operational and occupied by July 1, 2011.

"Being nominated for the Prix d'Excellence is an outstanding achievement in itself," said Ruth Kruger, Chair of the FIABCI-USA Prix Organizing Committee. "By taking part in this first national competition, winners are granted access to unique international network platforms as well as FIABCI's network of more than 120 partner organizations worldwide in more than 60 member countries. We, at FIABCI-USA, are looking forward to reviewing the many nominated real estate projects."

Winners will be selected by an international panel of real estate professionals and experts based on the project's overall merit. Projects will be evaluated on concept, architecture, engineering, profitability, marketing results, environmental impact and benefits to the community.

Nominations for the Prix d'Excellence Awards are being accepted in Commercial, Residential, Industrial and Public categories. Deadline for nominations is July 1, 2012. "We look to honor projects that are unique and that reflect the highest caliber of professionalism in their creation," said Bill Endsley, FIABCI-USA Secretary General. "Our 2012 honorees will illustrate the FIABCI mission to bring together real estate experts from across disciplines to contribute positively to the development of the built environment." In addition to The Wall Street Journal, the Prix d'Excellence Awards are sponsored by the National Association of Realtors and Prudential Douglas Elliman Real Estate.
