Joseph McCool Establishes Firm's New Palm Beach Office

GREENWICH, CT--(Marketwired - July 13, 2016) - Fieldpoint Private, the fast-growing wealth advisory and private banking firm serving ultra-high net worth families and institutions, today announced that it has entered the Palm Beach, Florida, market, with a new office and the addition of Joseph McCool as Managing Director and Senior Advisor.

The firm, which was established in 2008, originally attracted widespread attention because of its high-profile founders who had served as chairmen and CEOs of firms such as Merrill Lynch, UBS Americas, TD Ameritrade, The Home Depot, Time Inc. and Gillette, among others. The expansion to Palm Beach follows last week's announcement that the firm has added a West Coast presence with the addition of Clay Skurdal, who is based in Eugene, Oregon.

Mr. McCool, a nearly 30-year wealth advisory veteran, joins Fieldpoint Private following 13 years with Capital Group Private Client Services, where he advised families and business owners on approximately $450 million in investments as a Senior Vice President and investment counselor. Prior to that, Mr. McCool spent a decade with Sanford Bernstein as a principal, and served in corporate finance with Smith Barney.
