FieldView Strengthens DCIM Leadership With New Executive Hires

Company Appoints David Black to Lead Eastern Region, Mike Hall to Lead Western Region Sales

EDISON, NJ--(Marketwired - May 8, 2013) - Taking its leadership in Data Center Infrastructure Management (DCIM) one step further, FieldView Solutions today announced the company is strengthening its sales team with the addition of David Black as Eastern Regional Sales Director and Mike Hall as Western Regional Sales Director.

The appointments of Black and Hall coincide with FieldView Solutions' recent launch of its national and global channel reseller Partner Program, designed to help resellers familiar with data center services augment their current offerings with a proven management/monitoring solution. Black and Hall bring significant industry and channel experience to lead the Eastern and Western regional territories, and join Russ Moreland who leads the Central U.S. region. Each Regional Sales Director will focus on enabling the FieldView Solutions sales organization to work effectively with the channel.

"Further building on our market leadership, we're proud to add two more proven leaders and industry professional to our management team," said John Day, Chief Sales Officer, FieldView Solutions. "David and Mike have a demonstrated track-record of success in expanding sales revenue; and an ability to nurture strong customer and partner relationships consistent with our culture and we are confident they will be valuable members of our team."

Black brings more than two decades of leadership in sales and product management/marketing -- including senior roles at Thomas and Betts Power Solutions -- a leading designer and manufacturer of electrical components used in industrial, commercial and utility markets. Serving as the company's Regional Sales Manager, Black was responsible for sales in the Northeastern United States, Eastern Canada and South America. During his tenure, Black increased sales in his region by more than 400 percent.

Prior to Thomas and Betts, Black held Director-level positions at TII Network Technologies, Inc. and Bodine Electric Company. As Director at TII, he managed product development and marketing efforts for a new product launch with annual sales of $300 million. Black also led product development and marketing efforts at Bodine, representing $25 million in sales.

"During my career, I've stayed committed to developing innovative sales strategies that enable companies to achieve new levels of growth," said David Black, Eastern Regional Sales Director, FieldView Solutions. "FieldView Solutions is clearly a market leader in DCIM; I look forward to applying my skills to increase the company's market share."

Hall brings to FieldView nearly 25 years of industry sales and alliance experience -- including more than 10 years at American Power Conversion (APC). Hall served as Director of the company's Cisco Alliance in North America and was also Regional Sales Director of West Coast operations. In this position, he grew his portfolio of reseller business by 21 percent -- double the overall rate of growth. Hall also led the reorganization of American Power Conversion's Western Region, positioning the company for future success.

Prior to American Power Conversion, Hall was the Western Regional Sales Director for Go2 Systems, Inc., a California-based Internet database company. While at Go2 Systems, Hall closed sales with more than 20 national accounts totaling nearly $3.5 million. He was also instrumental in developing new contacts and sales opportunities across 50 national and regional retailers.

"FieldView is clearly a company on the fast track. Their DCIM solution is widely considered to be one of the market's best for keeping IT and facilities running at peak efficiency," said Mike Hall, Western Regional Sales Director, FieldView Solutions. "I'm proud to be a part of their growing team and am confident that we can experience even greater levels of success building out the Western region."
