At the cross-roads of the legal and Software-as-a-Service (SaaS) industries, File & ServeXpress developed an aggressive timeline for transitioning their product to a SAS 70, SSAE 16 and Safe Harbor state of the art, fully redundant data center. File & ServeXpress was formed in November 2012, from the merger of CaseFileXpress, LP and File & Serve, a former LexisNexis company. As a result of the merger, File & ServeXpress had an aggressive time-to-production goal.

For Logicworks, part of the scope of the project included migrating a massive archive of documents from the previous data center to a parallel storage platform. Logicworks leveraged their position as an EMC Velocity Partner to offer a joint professional services and managed storage solution to ensure the integrity of the File & ServeXpress data archive during the migration. Due to the crucial deadlines inherent within the legal and judiciary processes and the importance of the documents to File & ServeXpress' clientele, compliance with industry best practices were central to File & ServeXpress choosing Logicworks as a business partner.
