Film Enthusiasts Can Use Their Visa® Cards to Purchase Advance Tickets to the 2008 Toronto International Film Festival™

Visa announces its continued sponsorship of world-renowned film festival

TORONTO, ONTARIO--(Marketwire - July 3, 2008) - With less than three months until the lights shine on the 33rd Toronto International Film Festival, Visa announced today its cardholders will receive advance access to tickets for some of the most buzz-worthy films destined for Toronto. Visa cardholders will have the opportunity to purchase popular ticket packages from July 7 to 13 - one week prior to public release.

This September, crowd-pleasing films and performances will once again be showcased at the Visa Screening Room - one of the most distinguished venues in the world for film premieres. Just last year, the Visa Screening Room featured the 2008 Academy Award winner for best picture, No Country for Old Men, and best picture nominee, Atonement. An incredible 75 Oscar nominated movies have screened at the Visa Screening Room over the past five years.

The 33rd Toronto International Film Festival will launch on Thursday, September 4 and continue through to Saturday, September 13, 2008. The exciting Festival line-up will be unveiled throughout the summer.
