FilterBoxx® Announces Partnership Agreement With Culligan Matrix Solutions

FilterBoxx Wastewater Treatment Systems and Culligan Potable Drinking Water Systems Deliver Full Utility Service on Demand to Resource Industry Worksites

CALGARY, ALBERTA--(Marketwire - Oct. 25, 2010) - FilterBoxx Water & Environmental Corporation, a primary provider of packaged water and wastewater treatment solutions, and Culligan International a leading global innovator of advanced water softening and filtration solutions for more than 70 years, today announced a joint marketing agreement to supply wastewater treatment and potable drinking water systems to resource based companies throughout North America. As part of the agreement, Culligan C-Series Potable Drinking Water Systems will be installed at oil & gas drilling, mining and pipeline camp sites to deliver clean, filtered water to employees. FilterBoxx will provide a C-Series Wastewater Treatment System to complete the utility package offering.

Bill Jones, vice president of operations and chief operating officer for FilterBoxx Water & Environmental, comments, "Culligan's market-leading brand of portable and modular potable water systems is an ideal complement to FilterBoxx's wastewater treatment package plants. Our companies' mutual focus on products that feature modular design and promote ease-of-use will ensure customers that require full water utility systems have access to world class components and services."

"This announcement formally recognizes a partnership that has already delivered successful solutions to several oil and gas customers in Western Canada," commented Rod McNelly, vice president of commercial and industrial sales for Culligan International. "We believe that FilterBoxx's breadth of wastewater and drinking water treatment solutions combined with their desire to work quickly and efficiently to meet customers' timelines is critical to expanding Culligan's ability to deliver safe and reliable drinking water systems to the resource based marketplace across North America." Rod adds, "The partnership allows Culligan to offer a complementary C-Series wastewater treatment system to our clients throughout North America."

The Culligan C-Series: Potable Drinking Water on Demand
Part of Culligan's Matrix SolutionsTM product line, the Culligan C-Series Potable Drinking Water System was designed with FilterBoxx to operate in rugged outdoor environments, such as those found at resource based camp sites. The C-Series provides comprehensive multi-level water purification, monitoring and control in a single containerized solution and can be installed quickly to deliver large quantities of water on demand to populations of 150, 300, 600 and 1,200 people. The modular design also allows scalability to accommodate larger populations.

Like all of Culligan's Matrix Solutions, the C-Series features a modular design with pre-fabricated components that can be configured to meet specific water treatment needs. Because of this flexible design, the C-Series can be built and delivered to field locations much quicker than comparable systems.

This is especially important for resource based companies who rely on mobile water treatment technology to provide superior water treatment regardless of the quality of the source water and minimize camp set-up time and operational costs.

As a water treatment partner to hundreds of businesses around the world, Culligan has combined best practices based on decades of experience engineering industrial water treatment systems that help resource based companies eliminate costly water problems by extending the performance of their equipment and improving operational efficiency.

The FilterBoxx C-Series Wastewater Treatment System
The FilterBoxx C-Series Wastewater Treatment System was designed based on customer feedback for a compact, pre-engineered wastewater treatment package plant. The FilterBoxx C-Series is easy to transport, set-up and operate in rugged outdoor environments, such as those found at resource based camp sites. The FilterBoxx C-Series wastewater treatment plants provide advanced MBR treatment in a containerized package and can be installed quickly to deliver municipal type treatment, on demand, to populations of 150, 300, 600 and 1,200 people. The modular design allows scalability to accommodate larger populations.

The FilterBoxx C-Series wastewater treatment plant features pre-fabricated components and all interconnecting piping, controls, electrical and mechanical terminations completed prior to shipping. Because of this flexible design, the C-Series can be built and delivered to field locations much quicker than comparable systems. This is especially important for resource based companies who rely on FilterBoxx to provide superior wastewater treatment systems to minimize camp set-up time and operational costs.

FilterBoxx brings years of experience providing custom built drinking water and wastewater treatment package plant solutions to major oil and gas, mining and other resource industry clients throughout Canada and the USA. The C-Series, like our other systems, is another product designed by FilterBoxx to provide our clients with quality, reliable treatment systems and cost certainty.
