The Event Recognizes Bay Area CFOs While Supporting Homeless and At-Risk Youth

SAN FRANCISCO, CA--(Marketwire - March 19, 2010) -  The Independent Selection Panel of the fifth annual Bay Area CFO of the Year Awards announced today the finalists in five categories for 2010 CFO of the Year. All award finalists will be recognized and winners announced at the annual awards dinner and ceremony on May 26, 2010 to be held at the Four Seasons Hotel San Francisco. 

In celebrating Bay Area CFOs, the event is well attended by the Bay Area's most prominent business leaders while giving back to the community. The Bay Area CFO of the Year Awards has raised $1.5 million over the past four years in support of Larkin Street Youth Services, which for over 25 years has successfully helped homeless and at-risk youth in San Francisco move off the streets through comprehensive housing, education and support programs. 

Finalists are chosen by a blue ribbon independent Selection Panel comprised of business and academic leaders including, Alison Davis, Managing Partner, Belvedere Capital; Mary Huss, Publisher, San Francisco Business Times; Lou Lavigne, Former CFO Genentech, Managing Director, LavigneGroupe; Rich Lyons, Dean, Haas School of Business, U C Berkeley; Ann Mather, Audit Committee Chair, Google; and Gideon Yu, General Partner, Khosla Ventures.
